Craig Snyder is an American writer, poet, and photographer. He is also a historian of skate and surf culture.

Life and career
Born and raised in South Florida, Snyder grew up skating with many of the skate stars that had laid the foundation for modern skateboarding including Alan Gelfand, Mike McGill, and Rodney Mullen. He was also a photographer, contributing to many skate magazines such as SkateBoarder. Snyder’s images were published worldwide by ESPN, Der Spiegel and TransWorld Skateboarding. They also appeared in many books, films and exhibitions. Snyder’s photography has led him to poetry, writing and art. On various projects, he has worked with musicians from Japan, Canada, Europe, the United States and Europe.
